A Friendly Reminder…
We hope that you had an amazing summer! Now that we are all getting back into our fall routines, we wanted to offer a gentle reminder to schedule any needed treatments that we recommended during your last appointment. The days go by fast, and we know that between school, work, extra curricular activities, and events with family and friends, it is easy for time to get away from you. Now is a great time to call our office and schedule any appointments that you or your loved ones need. Delaying treatments can lead to additional treatments and costly repairs. Continue reading to learn more about why dental treatment should never be delayed.
Don’t Delay Dental Treatment
We know that it can be tempting to delay the dental treatments that we recommended at your last appointment, especially if you are not experiencing discomfort in your mouth. We want to encourage you to schedule your appointment as soon as possible. Although you might not be experiencing discomfort now, that can change in an instant. Dental decay and damage to your teeth do not heal and repair themselves on their own. In fact, it is the complete opposite. Untreated decay in the mouth will continue to spread and cause additional issues over time. A cavity that is left untreated can eventually lead to the need for a crown or root canal. The development of gum disease is also common when treatment is not completed in a timely manner.
Don’t Let Nerves Stand in the Way
Are nerves about your dental care holding you back from scheduling your appointment? We know that a number of our patients have nervous feelings when visiting our office. If this describes you, please contact our office and speak with our team about your concerns. We can fully explain your needed treatment in detail to help you feel more comfortable.
If you are located in the Terre Haute, IN area and have not had a dental cleaning and examination in over six months, have cancelled an appointment, or need to schedule a recommended treatment, it is time to give our office a call and schedule an appointment today. We look forward to seeing you soon!
