Friendly Family Dentistry Patients,
We at Friendly Family Dentistry understand that sometimes you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. However, when you do not call in advance to cancel your appointment, you may be preventing another patient from receiving needed treatment.
The doctor-patient relationship is built on mutual trust and respect. We strive to be on time for your scheduled appointments and ask that you give us a call when you are unable to keep them. As a courtesy, we provide a reminder call and text before your appointment.
We make every effort to be on time for all our appointments. When one patient arrives late, it can throw off the entire schedule for that day. In addition, “squeezing in” an appointment shortchanges the patient and compromises the quality of care.
If a patient arrives 10 or more minutes late to their scheduled appointment, they may be asked to reschedule. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
To be respectful of the needs of other patients, please be courteous and call our office promptly if you are unable to show up for your appointment. If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled appointment, we ask that you call at least 48 hours in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and when you cancel with enough notice, it gives another patient access to timely dental care.
If you do not cancel 48 hours prior to your appointment, we will require a rescheduling deposit of $50 to reserve your next appointment. This is not an extra charge. It will go toward your next appointment. A second missed appointment may result in your being discharged from the practice.
If you are scheduled for a long procedure, like crown prep, an implant, etc., please make sure you confirm at least 48 hours prior! If we do not receive confirmation from you, we will assume you are not coming to your scheduled appointment, and it will be canceled.
After reading this, if you have any questions at all, please talk to someone in our office. Thank you!
