Dr. Haring and Dr. Cobb recently attended an Implant Success Today training seminar in Wisconsin to help better serve the needs of our dental implant patients. If you are unfamiliar, dental implants are artificial tooth roots that are placed in the jawbone and used to support a prosthesis such as a dental crown.
What is Implant Success Today?
Implant Success Today, or IST, offers a variety of dental seminars to train dental healthcare providers in the art of implant dentistry. This training is unique in that the dentists learn and apply the information using a hands-on approach during the seminar. This is beneficial because it allows the dentists to have a clear understanding of the material during the seminar and immediately implement the techniques in their own practice.
How Can These Seminars Improve Your Care?
The training received at IST allows our team to address challenges that may arise with difficult implant cases. Dr. Haring and Dr. Cobb have completed two training sessions where they had a deep look into implant-related topics such as bone and sinus grafting, extraction and single implant placement, advanced suturing techniques, and many other skills. They also learned more about the foundations of a successful dental implant treatment.
